After School Year 11 Intervention Programme

All students in Year 11 are offered a tailored programme of intervention lessons across all subjects at KS4. The intervention sessions take place every night during the school week and begin at 3.15pm. The purpose of these sessions is to support students with a focus on exam skills and practice as well as revisiting key content where students may require further improvement.

All students are issued with intervention cards that their subject teachers will sign to confirm attendance at each session on a weekly basis. It is essential that students who are invited to attend these sessions, do so regularly and arrive well prepared with the correct equipment and subject materials.

The intervention schedule for the Autumn Term 2017 is as follows:

Day Subject
Monday Science (all subjects)
Tuesday History
Wednesday Mathematics
Thursday English
Friday RE and Option Subjects

If you require further information on Year 11 intervention classes please contact the Head of Year 11, Mrs Zoe Millest or Assistant Headteacher James McKenzie.
