Dima wins National Anti-Racism Competition

We are incredibly proud of our pupil Dima, who was invited to attend the prestigious Show Racism the Red Card (SRtRC) School Competition for England Awards Ceremony at Manchester United F.C.’s iconic Old Trafford.

With over 20,000 young people taking part across the country, this year’s competition showcased a wide range of powerful and inspiring entries promoting anti-racism and equality. The competition continued to highlight the importance of young people using their voices and creativity to challenge discrimination and make a positive difference in society.

Dima achieved an outstanding success by winning first prize for her creative artwork, impressing judges with her thoughtful and impactful design. As part of the celebration, Dima was presented with a special goody bag by football legends John Barnes and Viv Anderson.

The competition was organised in school by Mr Papa, who supported pupils throughout the process and submitted Dima’s entry for the national competition.

Mr Papa said: “I am incredibly proud of Dima for this fantastic achievement. Her artwork carried a really powerful message and fully deserved the recognition it received on a national stage. She has been a real credit to herself and the school throughout the competition.”
