2022/23 Results
- Attainment 8 score: 47.4
- 37% of pupils entering the English Baccalaureate
- 20% of pupils achieving the English Baccalaureate
- 84% of pupils achieved at least a grade 4 in English and 77% of pupils achieved at least a grade 4 in mathematics
- 74% of pupils achieved a grade 4 in both English and mathematics
- 66% of pupils achieved at least a grade 5 in English and 58% of pupils achieved at least a grade 5 in mathematics
- 51% of pupils achieved a grade 5 in both English and mathematics
2021/22 Results
- A Progress 8 score of +0.01 (indicating that pupils at least as much progress at Pleckgate than pupils of the same ability nationally)
- Attainment 8 score: 45.5
- 32% of pupils entering the English Baccalaureate
- 22% of pupils achieving the English Baccalaureate
- 83% of pupils achieved at least a grade 4 in English and 74% of pupils achieved at least a grade 4 in mathematics
- 70% of pupils achieved a grade 4 in both English and mathematics
- 62% of pupils achieved at least a grade 5 in English and 52% of pupils achieved at least a grade 5 in mathematics
- 44% of pupils achieved a grade 5 in both English and mathematics
2020/21 Results
Progress 8: In 2021, GCSE grades were awarded through teacher assessed grades due to the national lockdown for COVID-19. The government made the decision to not publish progress 8 data as a result of this. However, indicative data from a range of external comparison tools suggests that the progress at Pleckgate was once again above national average.

- 35% of pupils achieved at least a grade 7 in mathematics with 17 pupils attaining the very highest grade 9 score
- Internal data currently places 97.46% of pupils staying in education or employment after Key Stage 4
