Two of our Year 7 pupils talked about their love of subjects and the ease of finding new friends at Pleckgate.
Year 7 Zaarah came from Lammack in September and said: “It’s been good so far. It was hard at first as it’s such a big building to find your way around but I have settled in easily.
“I enjoy PE, Maths and History.
“To any Year 6 pupils I would say come in with your head held high, be nice to everyone and ask anyone questions as there is always someone who will help.
“I have made plenty of friends and I enjoy school.”
Adam also came from Lammack. He said: “Finding the different rooms for lessons was tricky at first but I got used to it after a few weeks.
“I enjoy Science, Maths and French and attend French and STEM extra-curricular clubs. I have made a lot of friends.”
“I would say to any Year 6s, just to take it day by day and not think too much about the future. Enjoy each day.”
