Research indicates that participation in extracurricular activities positively correlates with pupils’ development both academically and personally. Pupils who participate in extracurricular activities have greater academic success, greater character development, especially in the areas of time-management and leadership skills, more positive social development, and greater interest in community involvement.
At Pleckgate we continue to be committed to ensuring ALL pupils have access to a range of activities and we will continue to consult with parents and pupils about their experiences.
