Twelve of our talented Young Enterprise pupils recently took their business skills to the next level, showcasing their handmade products at the Trafford Palazzo as part of a Young Enterprise trade fair. This exciting opportunity allowed them to put their entrepreneurial skills into practice by selling their hand made flowers bouquets and wooden coasters. Both teams managed to make enough sales to break-even and move into profit.
The event was not just about sales but also about building confidence and communication skills. Our pupils had the chance to interact with members of the public, learning how to pitch their products effectively and handle customer queries with professionalism. Additionally, they engaged with other schools participating in the programme, exchanging ideas and gaining valuable insights into the world of business.
A key highlight of the day was the pupils’ interview with the Young Enterprise judges, who assessed their understanding of product development, teamwork, and business acumen. This experience provided them with constructive feedback and the motivation to refine their business approach further. They also participated in a networking activity which encouraged them to find out about other schools Young Enterprise journeys.
We are incredibly proud of how our pupils represented the school, demonstrating creativity, resilience, and teamwork. Their success at the Trafford Palazzo event is a testament to their hard work and dedication, and we look forward to seeing how their business journey develops in the next few months.
