Andrea Hepplestone (Chair)
As a Specialist Leader of Education (SLE) for school improvement, Andrea has a proven track record of school improvement and providing support for schools in challenging circumstances: she has supported both junior and high schools in Special Measures and National Challenge schools in Blackburn with Darwen and Blackpool.
Andrea has extensive knowledge and experience of the Ofsted Framework and has worked closely with HMI as part of the inspection process and with schools during the inspection. More recently, she has focused on working with schools to ensure outstanding outcomes in all areas.
Prior to working for Star (formerly Tauheedul Education Trust), she worked for National Strategies locally as a consultant and also as a Regional Adviser at national level in the Closing the Gaps team.

Dan Lord
Dan is currently House Continent Leader at Rhyddings Business and Enterprise school, where he leads on the pastoral welfare of years 7-10 including monitoring progress of students welfare and attainment. Previously Head of Education at Blackburn Rovers Community Trust, holding the post from January 2014-August 2017 and before that, Dan was a PE teacher at Accrington Academy.

Shabnum Makba (Parent Governor)
Shabnum has been in education for 14 years, having started out as a teaching assistant and then qualifying as a teacher in 2013. She works as a class teacher at Roe Lee Park primary school and is familiar with the role of different people in the education of our children. She has four children, two of whom are currently studying at the school and one having left in 2017. She is extremely committed and passionate about the education that children receive at Pleckgate.  Shabnum is leading on the Parent Partnership Award and hopes that parents will take an active part in this.

Sharon Roscoe
Sharon is Chief Executive of the EPT and project managed the successful opening of The Heights Alternative Provision Free School and Eden School. She is Vice Chair of the governing body for St. Barnabas & St. Pauls’ CE Primary School. Sharon worked as Strategic Manager (Operations) for CXL and Area Manager for Connexions Lancashire Ltd. She graduated as MBA in 2011 from Lancaster University.

Jonathan Georgy
Jonathan is the Chief Finance Officer working for the Education Partnership Trust. Jonathan’s work experience includes working as an auditor within various industries before specialising within Academy audits. Prior to joining the Education Partnership Trust Jonathan worked for over 3 years as the Financial Accountant for a large Multi-Academy Trust. Jonathan qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 2012 and has associated professional qualifications.

Alexandra Burrill 
Alex, a former Pleckgate pupil, is the Resource Planning Manager for Lancashire County Council and has responsibility for customer access and communication, management information, analysis of data and forecasting. She brings a wealth of knowledge and experience in project management, the design and delivery of training and development and communication platforms. She has experience of working across multiple sites to meet tight deadlines whilst minimising disruption to services. Alex leads on the development and delivery on small and medium business projects. She also delivers and manages complex and high-risk services, assignments and activities within social care and the wider council.

Liam O’Doherty
Liam is currently in a senior commercial role within a large FMCG organisation where he manages national business accounts. He has extensive knowledge and experience in budgeting, strategic planning and project management. He also has a wealth of experience working with charitable organisations, both as a former voluntary, community and faith sector grants administrator at LCC and as a standing committee member of a national industry charity.
