Oliver! Will come to life on the Pleckgate stage soon and rehearsals are well underway.
Year 8 Jay will play the lead role and said: “I am learning my part at the moment, I have to sing as well. I just thought I would go to the auditions and I was surprised when I got the part of Oliver.”
Year 9 Chloe is Bill Sykes. She said: “It’s really good fun. I have watched the film and just thought it would be cool to audition.
“One of my friends always encouraged me to have a go at new things and that’s why I decided to do this.”
Year 10 Naeema is Nancy and she said: “It’s the first time school have done such a big production and it’s been fun so far. It’s been fun rehearsing and learning all the lines.”
