Year 10 pupils were recognised and celebrated in a special Achievement Assembly this week, highlighting their hard work, resilience and commitment throughout the term.
Head of Year, Miss Hartley, praised the cohort for their efforts, saying: “It has been fantastic to see so many of our pupils achieving and progressing this term. I am incredibly proud of the positive attitudes and determination shown by Year 10 – you should all be very proud of yourselves.”
The assembly began by recognising the importance of attendance. Pupils with 100% attendance, as well as those who have attended every week since the beginning of term, were entered into prize draws, celebrating their consistency and commitment to school.
A standout moment was the recognition of 10JCO as the best tutor group. They were commended for their motivation, excellent attitude to learning and the way they consistently support one another to succeed, setting a fantastic example across the year group.
Tutor group awards were also presented to Safa, Hamza, Minahil, Ayaan, Yusra, Duha, Isaam, Joe and Zarish for their positive contributions, effort and commitment within their forms.
Subject awards were awarded by Heads of Department, recognising pupils who have demonstrated exceptional hard work, determination and progress in their studies throughout the term.
The prestigious Headteacher’s Award was presented to Aaqib for his outstanding resilience, dedication and for overcoming adversity with a positive mindset – a truly inspiring achievement.
