Year 10 visit Staci in Blackburn

Our Year 10 pupils got on their bikes literally with a visit to international company STACI as they examine different career paths.

STACI is an independent, flexible international logistics specialist with their UK base in Blackburn.

They have clients in health, energy, cosmetics, financial services and more, developing a wide range of innovative and tailor-made logistics services to address their customers’ evolving needs as well as the rise of multi-channel distribution.

Head of Careers Mr Cadman said: “Pupils learnt about their business, apprenticeships, roles in different departments and were lucky enough to have a tour of the warehouse, test out new bikes and also completed a packing task putting their business skills to the test.”

Maryam said: “It was really interesting to learn we have an international company on our doorstep. I learnt a lot about logistics and the various roles within a business like STACI.”
