A special well done to Muhammed, Safiya, Afia, Uzair and Arham who represented Pleckgate High School at the Runshaw Philosophy Cup.
The pupils competed against schools including Penwortham Girls, Birkdale, Greenbank, Lostock Hall and Woden in a series of philosophical discussions and presentations linked to A Level Philosophy and Religious Studies topics.
The team showed excellent confidence, teamwork and critical thinking throughout the competition and represented the school brilliantly. A special mention also goes to Aliciana, who was unable to attend the competition due to being on the Duke of Edinburgh trip, but played a huge role in supporting and preparing the team in the lead up to the event.
