Pleckgate’s Eco Club can’t wait to see the trees they have planted start to grow!
They received 30 saplings from the Woodland Trust and have planted them in their school grounds.
Year 8 Ahmed said: “I enjoy the Eco Club as I like helping the environment, it is something I am interested in.
“I am looking forward to watching the trees grow although it will take some time!”
Teacher Mrs Banks is in charge of the Eco Club and she said: “We received 30 saplings of five different species which will all help the animals who visit Pleckgate in a different way. That’s our biodiversity aim.”
