Year 9 pupils from both Pleckgate and St Bede’s High School met for the first time to conclude on their Schools Linking Project.
The initiative linked the two classes in order to aid their exploration of their identities, communities, and diversity. Pupils were able to discover a sense of unity with children who they would have otherwise perceived as different as the two schools have quite diverse demographics.
The pupils collaborated to design a symbol that represented their shared ideals, and they were able to share their thoughts with the rest of the class. An excellent afternoon of friendship-making and creativity!
