Year Sevens have their work published!
Year Seven Pleckgate High School pupils will have the chance to see their work published in a new book.
A number of pupils entered a story writing competition, run by Young Writers, and will have their short stories featured in the book, “Hunted – Hide & Seek.”
They are still waiting to see the finished article but were this week presented with their certificates for taking part.
“Young Writers do a fantastic job and our pupils enjoy participating in their competitions as it’s a chance for them to be creative,” said English teacher Miss Mulla.
“To have their work published means they have something to keep for their efforts and it’s a great boost to them.”
